Principle:
The Hydracone runs on a hydraulic transmission. An Archimedes screw driven by a hydraulic motor sweeps the cone of the silo in a rotating movement to completely extract all the product. The hydraulic drive delivers high torque at low speed thanks to Morillon’s Booster start-up system.
Advantages:
- This system can completely empty the silo whilst reducing the risk of product bridging and guaranteeing its smooth operation thanks to its exclusive start-up mechanism.
- Maintenance is possible when the silo is full, thanks in particular to easy access to the transmission components.
- All moving parts are enclosed, ensuring personal safety, and all drive transmission components are separated from the product, preventing the possibility of contamination.
Hydracone range:
- For silos with a diameter of 2.5 metres or more and a cone angle of 45⁰.
Options:
- Explosive atmospheres and high temperatures (up to 150°C)
- Stainless steel version (304 or 316L)
- Possibility of using food grade oil
